Applications are collected and sent to the Hosting Organisation which takes the final decision involving the team. If the volunteers selected are still motivated and free to come to Austrian and do their EVS in the project, the Coordinating Organisation will apply on the following deadline to the Austrian NA. The activities in which the volunteers could be involved and the activities the volunteers could create in your organisation. Please give examples of typical activities/tasks for the volunteers: There are lots of different things to get involved with as a volunteer at the organization. Every working area has its own charm, learning possibilities and challenges. Independent from the working area the volunteer will be involved in the work and attendance of people with light intellectual disabilities and behaviour problems. That's the core area of the learning. Here is a summary of possible tasks: Agriculture: The work is characterized by mainly outdoor jobs and substantial work. Examples are mucking out the barn, intersperse hay, feeding the animals, maintaining work, and processing hay. Plant nursery: Also the work in our nursery plant is branded with substantial work and outdoor jobs. Examples for possible tasks are repotting, weeding and plant reproduction. Vagas: 1 Resumo: The Foundation helps the Nursery School, where attends Hungarian, Romanian and Rroma children. The teaching language is Hungarian and English. There are three groups with three nursery teachers. The smallest age groups consist of 1-2,5 years old, the little group consists of 3-4 years old, and the big group consists of 5-6 years old children. The groups are located in three huge halls. The new building and playground was finished in September 2007. The new building offers better standards for the education, the halls are large enough, and there are three kitchens for preparing the food and even a gym hall for the children. As we are working with preschool children one of the basic rules of the kindergarten is that the volunteer should love small children, be a decent person with proper behaviour towards the children in the nursery. The volunteer also should be willing to establish the best contact with the staff in order to implement the project. Perfil: The volunteer candidates have to be between 18 and 30 years of age, or between 17 and 30 if they are people with fewer opportunities. They have to come from Programme Countries and Neighbouring Partner Countries, and the Other Partner Countries of the World. Their background, colour, ethnic group, sexual orientation, religion or views does not count. CsF would like to host volunteers who love small children, because this is the most important attribute. It is preferably to be English speaking persons, with advanced knowledge of English (especially speaking) without any bad accent. The Foundation is based on moral values, therefore it would be the best to have volunteers who shares these values. The volunteers will be a member of the staff with equal rights and duties, which means that they will take part in all of the activities including board-meetings and decision-taking after they finish their language training. It would be important for the volunteers to integrate well in the staff and in the same time to be able to carry out individual tasks. We received to times accreditation from our National Agency therefore the Foundation is in the database of that webpage. CsF writes e-mails to the would-be partners and mentions its ?vacant EVS placement? on the web in order to find the best possible partners. If there are more candidates than the number of vacant EVS placements, a selection will be carried out first by the SO, and then by the HO. The selection consists of an interview, when the candidates are presented with the project, the aims, the duration, location and target groups. It is important for each candidate to have equal chances in obtaining the right to participate in the project. The HO will have its interview on skype. There will be picked up those candidates whose profile, interests and desires will be closer to the aim of the project and profile of the volunteer. The profile requirement, the project, the aim, duration, location, target groups and selection process, results will be communicated to the candidates for more openness and transparency, for equal chances to each candidate. Since the volunteers will have to work with children, they need to accept and love children between the age of 1 and 6. They don?t need any former training for that, but they have to be open to what is offered as informal and non-formal learning. They will have to communicate in English with the children, parents and staff, therefore they need to have good knowledge of English. They will work in teams, so it is good if they are keen to do that, or if they don?t know what that means, to be open to learn it. CsF is looking for serious, reliable, trustworthy partners as SO?s, who are ready to find the best candidates, to be in permanent touch with us and the volunteers, who are ready to offer support when they need it. Tarefas: The volunteer main task will be helping the nursery teacher in every group activity, to speak in English with the children, and to teach English is she is capable. They will participate and help to organize celebrations (Halloween, Christmas, Carnival, Easter, Mother?s day, Sport?s day, etc.). The volunteers will participate in all programs and activities in the nursery, as: - welcoming the parents and the children when they arrive to the nursery - in the morning circle time (singing, the hour, the day and the date, choose daily leader, etc.) - in free choice time (during this time each child will choose an activity which strengthens the unit lesson theme, and for example language lessons, art, music etc., in transition) - in helping during the snack time, practical application time, transition (bathroom, dress for outdoors etc.), change nappies - free play, playground - lunch time, help them to eat, to wash their teeth, to dress them - put children to sleep and oversee their rest, move the beds for the children - play games and say goodbye. Depending on their skills the volunteers can run different activities. They can teach the children new games, songs or may lead even a choir or a drawing club, can teach them to play a musical instrument, to dance, they can accompany them to the swimming lessons, can help in designing a calendar for the children, and in other outdoor activities (excursions, skating etc.). They learn to work in a team and to be considerate of other people. They gain experience with other cultures and lifestyles and develop international teamwork skills, using their initiative and responsible conduct. The sustainability projects implemented by the volunteers are intended to have an exemplary effect and can either be reproduced by the next generation of volunteers, or can be implemented in other centers in Europe. These projects represent an improvement in the quality of life of the center and highlight the idea of sustainable development as well as making the EVS well known in the region. Through the presentation of the projects in the internet, young people in other countries gain interest in the ideas of cultural collaboration and sustainability as well as of the benefits that participation in an EVS can bring. That is why we expect the EVS volunteer to respect our internal policy and to be politically neutral and to avoid participation in any political actions or strikes in Moldova. Vagas: 1 Resumo: Activities at the host organization revolve around a set of values that have formed in time and have grown together with the experience of our team: interculturality, volunteerism, tolerance, team spirit, and excellence. Based on these beliefs, our assumed mission is to stimulate the youngsters to develop themselves through volunteering activities, international mobility and nonformal education. The tools used to achieve our team?s vision include international voluntary activities and other projects that facilitate youth mobility beyond borders. The partnerships we have built locally and internationally offer us a proper environment for recruiting, training and placing volunteers in projects with a variety of themes. Perfil: The organization sketched the general features for the profile of the candidates, according to the activities proposed. The candidate should be between 18 to 30 years and willing to know other cultures, to work with people from disadvantaged backgrounds, to be trained to grow personally and Team to learn and teach non-formal methods. It is preferable that the potential candidate can motivate themselves to get involved with the organization and have the initiative to organize new activities individually or with an international team. - Feeling comfortable with the idea of being the centre of attention, comfortable to answer the curiosity of others about them. - Being an ambassador of their culture, willing to talk and make presentation about their country. - Being decided to analyze situations, communicate about problems and seek solutions to make things work better, both for themselves and the others, being proactive and confident. - Being willing to learn and develop themselves, in an intercultural team.? We would very much appreciate a good level of English, so there would be no major communication barriers between the staff and the volunteer, and the volunteers among themselves, as English is the main language used at the organization. Tarefas: The activities from the second package are mostly focused on children and teenagers. Therefore, the volunteers can choose from: - Activities in the kindergarten ? helping children with their tasks, taking part in the English and/or dance lessons; - Activities in orphanages ? organizing games and different recreational and nonformal activities for the children and teenagers in orphanages; - Activities in the Roma Centre ? organizing games and different recreational and nonformal activities for the children and teenagers in the Roma Center; - Activities in schools ? assisting the language teachers, preparing exercises and conversation topics for the students; - Organizing and implementing workshops for the youngsters in the towndepending on the skills and preferences of the volunteer, and the demand for activities in the local community; - Preparing and delivering presentations about their country or about other subjects that would be interesting for the youngsters in the community; - Organizing info-desks in high schools and universities, promoting volunteering and EVS; - Writing articles for the volunteers? blog. Condições: The volunteers will share a flat with other long-term volunteers and there might also be the case of sharing one room with two beds. The volunteers will receive 400 RON (approximately 100 ?) for food and 60 ? pocket money, both wired in their account at the beginning of each month. Vagas: 1 Resumo:The region is situated in the central region of Romania, in Harghita County. In our region there are living around 55.000 people, 20.000 in the town, and the rest in the neighbouring 7 villages. The majority of the population (92%) is Hungarian but in the region there are living a significant group of Romanians (7%) and a small minority of Rromani (gipsy) people. So we are living in a multiethnic, multicultural region. The region is situated in a mountain basin, the villages near the town are easy to reach and only in a few kilometers distance (4-15 km). Perfil:The profile of the volunteers will depend on the actual projects. As a coordinator organization we will participate in all of the recruitment processes. We want to ensure support for the hosting organizations in the planning of the EVS project, drawing the profile of the volunteer for the specific project, announcing the projects through our partner network (organization that we have met on international training courses) and through the national agencies, and we would like to develop and adopt a standard procedure on the recruitment process. We are working on a section on the organization's web page that deals with EVS projects and helps the recruitment process (presentation of the organizations, of the projects, description of the profiles of volunteers, presenting present EVS projects and volunteers, presentation of the volunteers who are working in our region, ensuring forum possibilities etc). Because of the fact that we will participate in the recruitment processes of all EVS projects that are coordinated by us, we think that we can accumulate more experience and practical knowledge (beside the knowledge gained from trainings) on recruitment, and with this advanced knowledge we could help improving the quality of EVS projects in our region. Age: 18 until 30 years old Tarefas: In the first place we want to be a coordinator organization, secondly we would like to host volunteers to our projects. In our region there are quite a lot of NGOs covering a large scale of social problems and activities (social, youth, environment, culture, sports, education). These NGOs will provide the projects and the main possibilities for learning (the content of the learning process), and our organization will provide the learning support for these opportunities. Our mentors and collegues have the experience of trainership and pedagogy, and we have training experiences on providing learning support (ex. SOHO training course). So we can offer to volunteers learning opportunities in different field of life, and an enforced learning support. The volunteers will have different roles in the Host Organizations, from being a project team member, a motivator for youngsters, to being a project manager, organizer. They can also develop their own project ideas after familiarizing with the needs of the target group of the different organizations. The activities depend on the profile of the hosting NGO, we can say that there will be a large scale of activities with different age groups and social groups, but mainly youngsters. The volunteer could be involved in group activities with youngsters, in organizing media campaigns, fund raising and application writing, project management, media workshops, organizing free-time activities indoor and outdoor, sports, being a motivator for local voluntary activities, in organizing club activities, etc. Documentação: CV + Carta de Motivação em Inglês

Vagas: 1 Resumo:The main theme of the project is ?European awareness? as the service will allow volunteers to become more conscious about their role in a European society and will enlarge children and youth knowledge about Europe. Our objectives are related to the possibility for young foreigners to share their experiences and cultural backgrounds with social workers and to use them to develop new skills by helping in regular activities but also by proposing innovative ones. In return for their active participation, the young people involved in the project will have the opportunity to get in contact with Italian culture but above all acquire personal and professional competences in the social field. The methods applied- as in all of EVS projects ? will be that of active participation of promoters and volunteers in all the project, above all in the design of the activities and identification of specific tasks which will be adjusted- as much as possible ? to the interests and skills of the young people involved in order to ensure an effective learning process. Perfil: Age: 17 until 30 years old Tarefas:The social cooperative has many different activities involving children and youth (from kindergarden to live-in communities) but decided to involve the EVS volunteer only in the ones related to very small children in ?casa famiglia and adolescents in ?cento educativo?. In these places, the presence of foreign youth has proved to be really useful and even though some years have passed from the last EVS, the cooperative hosted some Spanish Erasmus trainees who were a real added value in the organization. After selection process takes place, the first volunteer coming in February 2014 for 6 months will take part in a pre-departure meeting where s/he will receive more information about EVS and project activities and in collaboration with Paolo Babini all the volunteers doubts and questions about the project will be answered. The same will happen later for the young volunteer coming in September: all the necessary information about the project will be given beforehand so they can be prepared and know what will be expected of them and what they can expect from the Activity. The program of the activiities of the volunteers will be made very clear so it will be easier for them in the first weeks to cope with the situation and to integrate to the organization. Later the volunteers will be given more initiative so that the more they will want to do something on their own, the more they will be able to do so. During the first weeks of the project volunteers will also get to know the organization better. The volunteers will always be helped by professional educators who will give them methods; volunteer will be guided in a ?learn by doing? process and will always be assisted and supported by a tutor. The activities of the volunteer will cross over all the activities of the organisation and will mainy concern the kids both in ?Casa Famiglia? (morning ? taking care of smaller children) and ?Centro Educativo? (afternoon - study groups and leisure activities with adolescents). Vagas: 3 Resumo: The office is situated in western part of Latvia, in one of the largest town in Latvia. Historically our town had a very mixed population-latvians, russians, lithuanians and some other minority groups. There are a lot of people who belongs to so called 'risk group'-disatvantaged children from Orphanage, poor families, children with disabilities. The city also has one of the largest blind people communities in Latvia. People are very friendly and welcoming against other cultures. City itself consist of some regions. As example-former Soviet army secret base-Naval Port. During the first years of independence all the poorest people were send to live here. But in the same time, this is one of the most active region. Youth and childrens from mixed nationalities live here together and very eager to take part in any activities organized by locals or foreigners. We have 2 main activities centres. Our office is situated in one of the bigest and most inhabitated areas in the city. There are block houses around and very good public transport connection with the central part of town. The sea is a 3 min walk from our office and the surroundings is very green. So this is a perfect place for outdoor activities. A 5 min walk from the office is an old fortification system, with small knolls, forest etc. Perfil:The volunteer candidates should be aged between 18 and 30 with some computer skills, basic English and ideally an elementary knowledge of non-formal education. We will always discuss the project at length with the volunteer to ensure that if the funding is granted the project will be a positive experience for all parties, clarifying details about the role and the aims of the project through writing the application together. We will also leave space for the volunteer to input into the project and shape it more to their interests during the volunteer period.
