In the scope a restructuring to support business growth, is currently seeking a Human Resources Manager for Portugal. Human Resources Manager (M/F) RH.HRM.03 Lisbon Reporting to the head of the HR Europe and working as a peer of the Head or Portugal, the Human Resources Manager will be responsible for: Implementing the HR strategy; Ensure fulfillment of all HR administrative and legal matters; Contribute to the HR Key Performance Indicators; Recruitment: managing recruitment projects (profile drafting, selection, contract agreements, new joiners introduction); relationship with recruitment agencies; maintain the HR software updated and in line with the internal standards; Compensation and benefits: Implement the Company?s standard banding and job coding policy; support annual pay review; manage the local pay review process in line with internal standards; Communication: Develop and implement an employee communications strategy promote and improve ?employee engagement?; running staff satisfactions survey; Performance and People Development: Development of a training plan whilst remaining within budget; design and deliver a range of basic skills-based training; coach managers and their teams to improve performance and enhance team integration; Support line managers through disciplinary and grievance procedures in line with the Company?s values; support the head of HR Europe in the annual performance development review process. The Institute for Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Management would like to invite applications to two research positions as part of the Portuguese Innovation Agency project RES2IN ?From Research to Innovation: Composite Materials, Structures and Processes Research Line? under the following terms and conditions: 1 Duration and Regime of Activity: Duration of 12 months, with predicted start date on April 2014, in exclusivity regime. After a successful evaluation at the end of the 12 months period, the contracts may be renewed. 2 Work Place: The work will be undertaken at the INEGI/FEUP facilities, Porto, Portugal. 3 Brief Description of the Project: Within the framework of this project, INEGI aims to add critical mass, implement research strategies and accomplish specific research and innovation developments in order to foster each of the scientific topics of the Composites Group: Topic 1. Multifunctional Nanostructured Composites (MNC); Topic 3. Modelling of Composites Manufacturing Processes (MCMP); 4 Research Contract Activities: The selected candidates will be involved in basic and applied research and development activities according to the selected topic/profile described in Section 6 of this call. 5 Open positions: Position 1 - T1P1: PhD degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering or related areas. Position 2 T1P3: either A) PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar areas (Aerospace or Polymers) or B) experimentally oriented researchers with Mathematics or Physics PhD, will be considered. 7 Benefits: According to demonstrated experience and capabilities and subjected to INEGI?s salary policy. 8 Selection Method: The selection process will consist of two phases. In the first a curriculum evaluation (40% weight) will be performed to pre-select candidates for interview; in the second phase candidates will be interviewed (60% weight), with the aim of producing an ordinate list, taking into account the specified selection criteria.
